A trampoline must be set up on an even surface, and a sky bouncer trampoline is no exception. Safety will be compromised if a trampoline is on unlevel ground. Try one of the following suggestions if the ground underneath the trampoline is unlevel.

Digging out dirt from the trampoline edge that rests on the ground is the quickest way to level your trampoline. First, place the trampoline where it will be used and mark the areas that you will dig. Next, move the trampoline and dig enough dirt with a shovel to make sure that the trampoline is level when you put it back in place.

Use a level set on the trampoline surface to make sure that the trampoline is level. If the trampoline is not level you may need to move it again and remove more dirt. You need to be sure that the trampoline surface is level before anyone tries to jump on it.

Placing objects underneath the trampoline to level it is a safety hazard. While it may seem like a quick fix, the trampoline is likely to shift while it is in use. Wooden shims, blocks, or bricks, should never be used to level a trampoline.

Also, do not be fooled into thinking that it is unnecessary to level an enclosure trampoline. The enclosure is a safety feature designed to prevent a user from suffering serious injury. It is not designed to withstand repeated collisions, and a user can suffer minor injuries such as brush burns when colliding with an enclosure. An enclosure is not a substitute for a level trampoline.

When using an air trampoline, moving dirt from around the edges may not be enough to level it. Leveling the entire area that the trampoline covers may be necessary. If the ground very uneven this is especially true. Be sure that there is not a mound of dirt underneath the trampoline.

A professional excavator may have to be contacted if the area your sky bouncer trampoline will be used has too much dirt to be moved with a shovel. Using the equipment an excavator has at his disposal will be more logical, as it is tiring to move more than a small amount of dirt with a shovel.

Please make sure that the surface of the sky bouncer trampoline is level before allowing anyone to use it. If the ground is only slightly uneven then moving a little dirt with a shovel should solve the problem. However, moving a lot of dirt will probably require professional help. It is well worth the trouble to make sure that your trampoline is safe to use.
