for people who live in zone 5, when starting annual flower seeds inside?
When does the inside of vegetable seeds. What do you grow?
Once you know your 'estimated' date of last frost (which is March 30 to April 30 in zone 5), the package Seed should tell you how many weeks in advance should start the seeds. Counting backwards from the last expected frost date for each type of seed that is planted and have an approximate time to start seeds. A good "rule of thumb is to start your seeds six to eight weeks before their 'estimated' date of last frost. I use such later date as my guide.
